Sewing is my passion. 

I began sewing in Junior High but never felt that interested in it until later on in my life when I was pregnant with my first child.  I needed maternity clothes and really couldn’t justify the cost of buying clothes I would wear for such a short period of time.  So it began and I’ve never stopped since. 

Early on I sewed clothes mainly for my children as well as crocheting blankets for them.  This evolved from  sewing baby clothes, play clothes, dance outfits, and high school theater costumes, to eventually creating  flower girl and bridesmaid dresses for their weddings (as well as for many other friends and family). 

I’ve since evolved to sewing almost anything and everything under the sun.  Doll clothes and Halloween costumes for my grandchildren; curtains and pillows for various living rooms of friends and family (and of course my own); wedding garters and pillows; not to mention a large fish that my daughter’s cats can play inside.  Many of these items I mention you can see in my custom work section, handmade for people that are very special to me.
